RESULTS
LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams returned to action this weekend competing in the 5
th Annual Brant Tolsma Invitational.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Halle Perry took seventh place in the pentathlon on Thursday after totaling 3,365 points. She finished first in the long jump competition. Heloise Louiset finished in ninth place after taking first in the event's high jump.
- Alexander Mannel earned second place in the heptathlon today. His 5,193-point total moves him into third place all-time at Queens. Mannel took first place in the 60-meter hurdles and tied for first with Robin Ott in the pole vault.
- Jaroslav Sivuha was third in the heptathlon while Ott took 12th place. Peter Canak finished 14th overall.
- Queen's distance crew saw some action as Uriah Aili led with a third-place finish in the men's 3000-meter run with a time of 8:24.75. In the women's race, Livia Wespe led the way finishing 11th in 9:58.57.
- In the long jump, Jada Brown took 11th with a mark of 5.56 meters.
- Drake Lambert finished sixth in the pole vault lower finals with a mark of 3.95 meters.
- Amir Muhammad took 21st place in the long jump with a mark of 6.49 meters. Michael Robinson followed in 25th place and Josia Ford was 26th.
