GAME ONE NOTABLES
- After a three-up, three down inning led by Autumn Courtney in the circle, Queens tallied their first conference-play RBI of the season from Abby Craver early on in the bottom of the first inning, bringing home Kayla Smith.
- The Royals and the Ospreys would go the next two full innings without scoring before a solo homer to center from Jackson would tie the score up 1-1 before the Royals got out of the inning.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Queens stretched their lead to 5-2 with a three-hit, four-run frame including a stand-up double from Kasidi Staley and back-to-back singles from Ashlyn Mickler and Kayla Smith.
- In North Florida's last chance at-bat, the Ospreys managed to snag a run off an error, but Courtney and her defense shut the door and finalized the 5-2 triumph.
- Courtney finished the day with 10 strikeouts, placing her at 168 strikeouts on the season.
GAME TWO NOTABLES
- UNF would be the ones to strike first in the nightcap after a scoreless first inning. An RBI single from Allison Benning would get the Ospreys on the board, 1-0, before Queens retired the side.
- After a scoreless half-inning from the Royals, UNF found another run in the top of the third after an RBI single to right center from Jackson.
- The Ospreys would go on to hit five homers in the span of an inning - one in the top of the fourth and four in the top of the fifth.
- With a 10-0 lead, the duo of Mickler and Smith once again came through on offense with consecutive hits to score a run — but that would be all the Royals would score in the second game, falling 10-1.
