CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Kella Goins' squad wasn't able to seal the deal today in the series finale against the North Alabama Lions, falling 9-0 at the Stick on Monday, March 25.

GAME NOTABLES
- North Alabama struck early on in the first inning, claiming four runs off a three-run RBI double from Haven Kirby and a sacrifice fly RBI from Lilliana Cartee.
- Later in the bottom of the second, North Alabama would make back-to-back errors to get Kiana Termine and Madison Cantoni on base. Natalie Windham would then draw a walk to load the bases with two outs, but a foul out from Kaylee DeJesus would end the inning.
- North Alabama claimed two more runs in the top of the third after an RBI single to shortstop from Cartee and an RBI single from Sydney Harris to put the Lions at a 6-0 advantage.
- The Lions would then pick up scoring opportunities in the top of the fifth and the top of the seventh innings, finalizing a 9-0 triumph.
- The Royals would pick up four hits on the day with hits from Kiana Termine (2), Ashlyn Mickler (1) and Kaylee DeJesus (1).
- Kiana Termine finished the day going two-for-three at the plate.
- In the circle for the Royals, Abby Craver went one inning to start, allowing three hits and four runs. Autumn Courtney finished the last six innings allowing nine hits and five runs but picked up seven strikeouts on the day.
