The Short Story: The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team fell 58-76 to the SCSU on Wednesday night. The Royals are now 3-4 on the season while the Bulldogs improved to 1-7.

• The Royals showed life in the second quarter where they outscored the Bulldogs 16-8. 
• The third quarter brought the opposite fate as the Bulldogs got hot from the 3-point line. The team ended the 10 minute period 6-8 and 75 percent beyond the arc.

• The Royals won the second and fourth quarters but fell short of closing the gap.
