Four NCAA Decathlon Marks Recorded at David Noble Relays

RESULTS

SAN ANGELO, Texas – Queens University of Charlotte's multi crew from the men's team went to compete in the David Noble Relays this week coming away with a new school record and four NCAA provisional marks in the decathlon.

Simon Rey would set a new school record with a third-best score of 7,335. NIklas Klei followed in fourth place with a score of 7,069 while Stephan Jungmichel totaled 7,015 points for fifth place. Florian Daireaux finished the string with a seventh-best 6,671 points.

Rey's score will most likely be one of the top coming out of this weekend of Division II competition. En route to setting a new school record in the event, he bested his 110-meter hurdles mark from a few weeks ago recording a time of 14.82 meters for 871 points while also improving his javelin throw mark by recording a throw of 45.89 meters for 528 points.

Queens will be back in action on April 8-9 when they travel to Cleveland, Tenn., to compete in the Flames Invite hosted by Lee University.
