Royals Heading to Lincoln Memorial on Saturday

CHARLOTTE, N.C - The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team (6-16, 5-16 SAC) will be on the road on Saturday, Feb. 19 traveling to Lincoln Memorial University (7-13, 9-14) for a 2 p.m. game in Harrogate, Tenn. This will be the second game in the regular-season series between the Royals and the Railsplitters. 

 LAST TIME OUT
- Queens was defeated at home by Limestone University on Wednesday night by a score of 76-56.
 
-  The Royals were led by Amari Davis who finished with 12 points. Kalaya Hall and Kennedy Fuller  finished with 10 points each, and Mikayla Sink added nine points. Taylor Stevens returned to the lineup chipping in seven points and five rebounds while Finley Lefevers also returned to total seven rebounds and four assists. Malea Garrison led under the glass with 11 rebounds.
 
ABOUT THE ROYALS
-Queens is currently led by Hall who is averaging 20.5 points per game this season to rank fourth in the conference in the category. Additionally, Kristy Hamze is averaging 12.1 points per game. Stevens ranks first in the league with 4.5 assists per game.

-The Royals opened their season with a win over Emory & Henry. It is the first time that Queens has kicked off their season in the win column since 2015. Two of their opponents since then have been nationally ranked.
 
-Head Coach Jen Brown is in her second season leading the Royals. Queens enters the year in rebuilding mode welcoming six newcomers to a squad of nine returners.

ABOUT THE RAILSPLITTERS
-The Railspliters suffered a 51-43 loss to Tusculum University inside Tex Turner Arena on Wednesday night. Mikayla Kuehne scored a team-high 16 points while also grabbing six rebounds. Lauren Flowers also poured in double-figures, scoring 15 points and pulling down seven boards. Lindsay Proffitt had eight rebounds and Irelynn Davisson dished out four assists.
 
-The Railsplitters have four players scoring in double-figures with Davisson leading the way with 12.8 points per game, while Kuehne is adding 12.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. Proffitt and Flowers are both averaging 10.7 points per game for the Railsplitters.

SERIES HISTORY
- Saturday marks the 25th meeting between these two programs with Lincoln Memorial leading the series 20-4.
 
- In their last meeting, the Royals suffered a 59-47 loss inside Curry Arena. Hall finished with 14 points. Stevens posted seven points while adding four rebounds for the Royals. Jori Wilks provided valuable minutes off the bench for the Royals and recorded a season-high 13 points.

- The Royals' last win over the Railsplitters came on Feb. 2, 2019, when they won 73-64 on the road.
