CHARLOTTE, N.C - The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team (6-13, 5-13 SAC) will be back in Charlotte to host the UVA Wise Cavs inside Curry Arena (8-14, 8-11 SAC) Saturday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. It will be the second game in the regular-season series with the Cavs and the game will serve as Queens' Play4Kay game.
LAST TIME OUT
- Queens suffered a 75-57 loss on the road to Coker University on Wednesday night, moving their record to 6-13 on the year and 5-13 in South Atlantic Conference play.

Kalaya Hall finished play with 22 points to lead Queens while
Mikayla Sink chipped in with 11 points.
Malea Garrison added nine points.
ABOUT THE ROYALS
-Queens is currently led by Hall who is averaging 20.5 points per game this season to rank fourth in the conference in the category. Additionally,
Kristy Hamze is averaging 12.1points per game.
Taylor Stevens ranks first in the league with 4.6 assists per game.
-The Royals opened their season with a win over Emory & Henry. It is the first time that Queens has kicked off their season in the win column since 2015. Two of their opponents since then have been nationally ranked.

Jen Brown is in her second season leading the Royals. Queens enters the year in rebuilding mode welcoming six newcomers to a squad of nine returners.
ABOUT THE CAVS
-In their last matchup against Coker University on Monday, the Cavs defeated the Cobras 79-63. UVA wise shot a season-high 57.8 percent from the floor. The win moved them to 8-10 in league play. Kalee Johnson led the way with 28 points. Caitlyn Ross tossed in 12 points, Nia Vanzant chipped in 11 points, and Meg Crawford tallied 10 points. Jaymi Golden and Katlin Burger each scored nine points.
-Vanzant leads the Cavs averaging 15.5 points and 5.3 boards per game while Johnson is contributing 14.2 points and 7 rebounds per game. Crawford is adding 9.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Additionally, Caitlyn Ross is averaging 9.7 points.
SERIES HISTORY
- UVA Wise leads the series with the Royals, 4-0. The Royals fell 77-74 to the Cavs on Jan. 15, 2022 in their last meeting. After Hall tied the game with a layup with 35 seconds on the clock, Golden of UVA Wise knocked down a three with two seconds to play ending the game. Hall finished the game with 21 points, five assists, five steals, and two blocks. Stevens added 12 points, five assists, and four steals while Hamze totaled 11 points.
Kennedy Fuller had a career-high 10 points off the bench.
