HOUSTON, TEXAS - The Queens University of Charlotte men's rugby team fell to Brown University in the 2022 NCR Division 1 National Championship on Saturday night. The game wrapped up the Royals first D1 season as they finished 10-3 overall and runner up.
 
In the first half, the Queens defense gave Brown a hard time as the Royals surrendered a try and conversion. The Royals would enter halftime trailing 10-0.
 
Queens would open the second half quickly as the Royals scored a try within seconds of the half beginning which brought the score to 10-5. Despite the promising start to the half, the Bears would not budge the rest of the game and held the Royals scoreless while increasing their lead to 21-5.
