Queens Set to Host Bears for SAC Women's Soccer Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team will take on the Lenior-Rhyne University Bears on Sunday, April 11 in the South Atlantic Conference Women's Soccer Championship match at Dickson Field.
 
The second-seeded Royals advanced to the final after defeating sixth-seeded Limestone by a score of 1-0. Nia Gaither scored on a penalty kick in the first half to send the Royals to the finals.
 
The fourth-seeded Bears advanced after defeating top-seeded Catawba, 1-0 in overtime. Kara Gavaghan scored the golden goal assisted by Stephani Figueiredo.
 
The Royals and the Bears have not met this season. In their last meeting on September 28, 2019, the Royals suffered a 4-1 loss.
 
Currently, the all-time series between the pair sits at 9-7-2 in Lenoir-Rhyne's favor.
 
Game time is set for 4 p.m. Live video and stats will be available.
