Richmond, Va. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer team fell 3-0 to the University of Richmond on Sunday afternoon at President's Field at River Road. Queens falls to a 0-2-1 record, while Richmond improves to 2-0-1 on the season.

The Spiders opened the scoring in the fifth minute after an initial strike hit the post before Morgane Zinn finished the ensuing opportunity to give Richmond a 1-nil advantage. Just 50 seconds later, Kingsley Hughes found the back of the net to double the Spiders' lead. Zinn added her second goal of the afternoon in the 57th minute to seal the 3-nil decision.
