"This was a good win for out team," said Head Tennis Coach
Billy Boykin. "We lost a tough one to them last Spring, so we were focused coming into the match this year. We had a good week of practice and we were excited to play today."
Queens tallied three wins in doubles play, including a convincing 6-2 win in the second position by the tandem of
Sebastian Meum and
Kasper Rolfsen.
In singles play, freshman
Edoardo Cecere opened with a 6-0, 6-0 win and Meum followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory. After a 6-0, 6-2 win by redshirt-junior

"We're playing with more confidence each time out. We've won consecutive matches against two of the top teams in the region, which is great, but we have to keep pushing ourselves in practice" continued Boykin. "Our region is action-packed with good teams and we need to be ready to compete at a high level every time we step on the court."
