CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Tomorrow night, the Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team will host rival Wingate University in a South Atlantic Conference showdown inside Curry Arena.
 
During the game, the Department of Athletics will be raising awareness for the #SetTheExpectation campaign, which is dedicated to combating sexual and physical violence by supporting coaches, young men and boys to become part of the solution through direct outreach and engagement in high school and collegiate athletic programs. Queens players will be wearing #SetTheExpectation shoe laces during the game.
 
The Bulldogs have a 20-0 record against Queens in the all-time series dating back to the 1991-92 season. In the last meeting Wingate, ranked No. 21 at the time, collected a 68-51 win over the Royals in Wingate, N.C. Queens' forward Lade Adepoju led all scorers in the loss with 18 points.

-In their most recent contest, Queens rallied from a halftime deficit to pick up a 62-56 South Atlantic Conference win over Mars Hill University on Saturday afternoon inside Goodman Gymnasium.
 
The win snapped a 21-game conference losing streak for the Royals, who shot 43.9 percent from the floor in the game, including making 14-of-27 (51.8%) of their field goal attempts in the second half. Queens held a 38-34 advantage in total rebounds and scored 26 points off of 20 Mars Hill turnovers.
 
Adepoju led all players with a game-high 18 points, making 7-of-11 shots from the floor and pulling down a game-high nine rebounds as well as tallying five assists and three steals. Redshirt-senior Cheyenne Logan provided a spark for Queens off of the bench, scoring a season-high 10 points on a 4-for-6 shooting performance.
 
-Queens averages 69.1 points per game on offense and forces opponents into more than 21 turnovers per game on defense, a mark that ranks them among the Top 25 in NCAA Division II.
 
-Adepoju paces the Royals with 14.3 points on 57.4% shooting and ranks among the League's top five with nine rebounds per game. The Alicante, Spain native has six double-double performance on the season.
 
Freshman Jaleah Goff provides added value with 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while fellow freshman Jaymi Golden also averages double figures with 10.8 points per game, increasing her average to 12.5 points in the last four games, all starts. Sophomore Kristian Eanes follows close behind with 9.9 points per game and shoots 41.3% from the floor.

Wingate University Bulldogs (12-4, 7-2 SAC)
 
- The Bulldogs are currently second overall in the South Atlantic Conference with a 12-4 overall mark an 7-2 record in league play.
 
Winners of its last four games, Wingate most recently defeated Tusculum University 73-67 in Wingate, N.C. The Bulldogs have won by an average of 14.8 points per game during their current four-game winning streak.
 
- Wingate's strength is on the defensive end of the floor where the team holds opponents to just 57.1 points per game, placing them among NCAA Division II's Top 25 defenses.
 
-Senior Caroline Averette in one of the SAC's best scorers, averaging 15.6 points per game and making 41.8% of her 3-point attempts. Fellow senior Danasia Witherspoon provides 9.7 points and 7.8 points for the Bulldogs.
