PINEVILLE, N.C. - Sophomore right-hander
Lee Harrison struck out a season-high 10 batters across five innings on the mound as Queens picked up a 10-4 win over Piedmont International University's JV team in the Royals' final home game at Jack Hughes Park.
Harrison (1-1) carried a no-hitter into the fourth inning of play, eventually exiting after completing the fifth after allowing just one run on three hits with 10 punch outs.

Max Fries tossed an inning out of the bullpen, while sophomore
Bryant Baucom collected his first save after going three innings in relief and allowing two runs on two hits.
The Royals scored early and often in Thursday's contest, building a 6-1 lead through four innings of play.
Following a scoreless fifth, the Bruins tallied a run in the top of the sixth before Queens responded with four runs of their own in the bottom half of the frame. Two runs for Piedmont International in the eighth inning ended the scoring for both teams.

Ryan Dudney was 3-for-4 at the plate, finishing with a double, two runs scored, two RBI and two stolen bases. Freshman

Queens is on the road for its next four games, beginning with a doubleheader on Monday, April 9, against Montreat College in Montreat, N.C. First pitch of the first game is schedule for Noon.
