GREENWOOD, S.C. – The 2018 season came to an end for the 14th-ranked Queens University of Charlotte men's tennis team on Monday afternoon after the Royals lost 5-3 to No. 7 Flager College in the opening round of the NCAA Southeast Regional at the Joe Cabri Tennis Center.
Flagler, the region's No. 3 seed, won two points in doubles play for an early 2-1 lead over Queens, the region's sixth-ranked team. The Royals lone point came via a 9-8 (7-5) at No. 2 by the tandem of sophomore

Singles competition began with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 5 from freshman
Kasper Rolfsen to even the match at two points apiece. Flagler regained the edge with a win at No. 4 before Bosch tied the score once again with a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 2, his seventh in a row.
The Saints ended the match with consecutive wins at No. 3 and No. 1 to seal the first round victory.
Queens, the 2018 South Atlantic Conference Regular Season Champions, finishes the season 13-5 overall. The Royals picked up four SAC All-Conference awards and head coach
Billy Boykin was named the SAC Men's Tennis Coach of the Year for the second straight season.
