Charlotte, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte cheerleading team will be accepting video tryout submissions for the 2018-19 season. This option is available to all qualified candidates who were unable to attend the spring tryout.

In your tryout video you must be able to showcase the following skills:
- Double toe-touch.
- Top Girls: successfully execute an extended cupie and liberty with a cradle dismount; successfully execute a straight-ride basket toss.
- Bases/Backs: successfully brace a cupie, as well as a one-legged stunt and catch a cradle dismount; successfully toss and catch a straight-ride basket toss.
- 4 eight counts of a sideline or halftime dance.
- 2 sideline chants.

Preferred skills are:
- Triple-jump series: right-facing hurdler, toe-touch, left-facing pike
- Standing back handspring
- Running tumbling pass
- Top girls: successfully execute liberty variations (heel stretch, arabesque, scale, scorpion, bow and arrow, etc.) with full twisting cradle dismounts; successfully execute toe-touch, pike (both are considered one trick tosses) or kick-full (considered a two-trick toss) basket tosses
- Bases/Backs: successfully brace all extended stunts with ability to successfully catch full twisting cradle dismounts; successfully toss and catch a basket toss with a minimum of one trick.
