Charlotte, N.C. - Queens University of Charlotte men's swim team celebrated senior day honoring their seven seniors with a 121-49 win over St. Andrews University on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Queens held off the Knights taking first in every event for the dual meet.

Jeff Dugdale. "We look forward to now being ready for our next meet in Columbia [S.C] against USC and others. And like I said yesterday, we continue to polish as we get ready for our final destination of conference and NCAAs."
The men's 200 Medley Relay grabbed the first win off the guy's side as
John Suther,
Niclas Eriksson,
Evante Gibson, and
Matthew Josa, respectfully, found the wall in 1:33.00.
Senior
Alex Menke dominated the pool in the 500 Freestyle with a 4:37.54 performance for Queens.
In the 50 Backstroke, Suther took the uncontested Queens event improving to a 23.60 time while Eriksson took the win in the 50 Breaststroke, a race that also only featured the Royals. Eriksson, a senior at Queens, saw a 26.50 finish for the event.
Josa not only saw a win in the 100 Butterfly, his 47.27 time would take the pool record for Queens toping his previous pool record of 47.64 set in December.
Austin Sumrall, senior, topped the 50 Freestyle touching the wall at 21.50.
Hayden Kosater took a first place finish for his senior day reaching the wall with a 47.81 in the 100 Freestyle.
Taking an NCAA "B" Standard for the 100 Backstroke, Josa found himself finishing first with a time of 48.80.
Eriksson's 58.06 in the 100 Breaststroke put him at the top of the event.
Ben Taylor found the wall first in the 200 Freestyle with a 1:45.93.
Felipe de Oliveira took on the 50 Butterfly for a 23.12 first place finish before Hughes wrapped up the individual events with the 200 Individual Medley. He would swim a 1:58.73 for event.
Keeping the sweep alive the men's 400 Freestyle Relay featuring Taylor, Hughes,
Zachary Phelps, and Kosater grabbed the first place finish with a 3:12.81 time.
Queens will head back to the water on January 23 as the team travels to Columbia, S.C., to compete against the University of South Carolina, Vanderbilt University, and Wingate University.
