MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The Queens men's tennis team traveled to face Mount Olive College in a makeup Conference Carolinas match today. After dropping all three doubles matches the Royals were unable to rally and lost 3-6 to the East Division champs.
After losing all three doubles events the Royals were able to show some life, and picked up three of their singles matches.
Christiaan Lee-Daigle (Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada, L'Essor Secondary School),
Joshua Bloch (Johannesburg, South Africa, King David), and
Joshua Bloch (Johannesburg, South Africa, King David) all won their individual matches, and hope to carry some momentum into this weekend's matches.
Following today's match Queens stands at 7-6, and 5-2 in conference play. The Royals do return to Charlotte as both the men's and women's teams take on conference rivals Erskine on Staurday, and King College on Sunday for Senior Day.
