CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Two track and field athletes have been named All-Academic by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. Seniors Nelson Mwangi (Kenya, Nairobi School) and Simon Stuetzel (Meinborn, Germany) represented Queens on the list of honorees.

The two Royals were the only representatives from Conference Carolinas on the 162-man list.

Athletes must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher and have posted an automatic or provisional qualifying time either as an individual or part of a relay team for either the indoor or outdoor NCAA Track and Field Championships.
