Lee-Daigle and partner win doubles bracket at ITA Summer Circuit

This comes a week after Christiaan was a finalist at another ITA Tournament

CHARLOTTE, N.C.- Following a runner-up finish at an ITA Tournament at Virginia Tech just a week ago, Christiaan Lee-Daigle (Tecumseh, Ontario, L'Essor Secondary School) and his partner, William O'Connell, won the doubles bracket at the ITA Summer Circuit at the University of Georgia.

Lee-Daigle entered the tournament without a partner, so he was assigned one and that is how he was partnered with O'Connell. O'Connell, from Nadi, Fiji, is a junior at New Mexico Military Institute.

The pair faced a duo from Louisiana State University in the semifinal round to advance to the finals. Lee-Daigle and O'Connell defeated the Division I opponents, James Tubervill and Thomas Knights, 8-3.

Lee-Daigle and O'Connell would have to defeat experience played from Alabama, Ricky Doverspike and Harris Barnard.

The rookie partners of Lee-Daigle and O'Connell easily won the match 8-6.
