CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte women's tennis team dropped their match yesterday against Catawba College 6-3. The Royals are now 4-9 overall and 2-3 in Conference Carolinas play. The Indians improve to 7-7 after the win.

Elena Mileva (Sofia, Bulgaria, First Private English Language School) and Kaitlyn Blakey (Keller, Tex., Keller) came out ready to play winning their single matches. Mileva defeated Kasia Zielinski with scores of 6-4 in both sets. Jen Denyes was defeated by Blakey in two sets also, 6-0,6-0.

The Mileva and Blakey duo continued their success in doubles play winning their match 8-4.

The Royals are back in action at UNC-Charlotte on April 4.
