Sophomore forward Mario Goic has kicked off the Division I era successfully for the men’s soccer program earning him the honor or September Male Student-Athlete of the Month. The Croatia native led the Royals to their first DI win at UNC Asheville by scoring a career-high two goals in the victory. Goic leads the team with nine points behind a team-best four goals, 30 shots, and 12 shots on target. The impressive start also puts Goic top five in the conference in points, goals, and shots.
