Lillian Gordy has been selected as the January InterCon Student-Athlete of the Month after helping the Royals defeat both Lenoir-Rhyne and Limestone, while punching her ticket to the NCAA Championships.

Gordy will travel to Mansfield, Texas to compete in the 100 and 200-yard freestyles. She currently leads the conference and is top ten in the nation in three events. Gordy was also part of an All-American first semester squad that held a GPA of 3.4.  The freshman swimmer played a key role in Queens' wins over the Bears and Saints after taking her individual and relay events. She has contributed greatly to the Royals' overall season record of 13-4 in their second season of existence.
