Hannah Wolkenhauer of the women's cross country team has been named October InterCon Female Student-Athlete of the Month.

Wolkenhauer led the Royals to their second straight South Atlantic Conference Championship during the month after crossing the finish line first in 17:13. She led the field by 39 seconds to earn SAC Runner of the Year honors. The team was ranked 16^th in the nation at the time.
