Kusch recorded the second fastest split ever for Queens leading off the 800 Free Relay which concluded in a Conference record. The sophomore swimmer was the only competitor to win three individual events. These events were the 200 IM with the time of 1:46.39, the 100 Fly in 46.46, and finishing the 200 Fly in 1:44.96 resulting in his second conference record. Other events that Kusch assisted his team in winning were the 400 Free Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and the 200 Free Relay.
