CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte head men's basketball coach Grant Leonard is excited to announce three exhibition contests ahead of the 2026-27 season. The Royals will welcome a pair of visitors to Curry Arena while heading on the road for an exhibition.

The new basketball season will tip off on Wednesday, October 14 inside Curry Arena as Queens welcomes Catawba College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Catawba and Queens met 27 times before the Royals transitioned to Division 1. The Royals lead the all-time series 23-4, including 21 straight wins to end the regular-season series.

A week later, Queens will make the short trip to Charleston, South Carolina, for a Thursday night tilt at Charleston Southern University. Tip-off is tentatively scheduled for 7:00 p.m. inside Buccaneer Fieldhouse.

Queens will close out their preseason preparation on Tuesday, October 27 as the Royals welcome Johnson C. Smith University to Curry Arena. Tip-off is slated for 7:00 p.m.
