THE SHORT STORY
Queens University of Charlotte fell 10-1 on the road to Jacksonville University tonight in ASUN action. Jacksonville's pitching held the Royals to three hits over nine innings, while holding Queens to one hit in the first six innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Dolphins took a 5-0 lead into the top of the eighth after scoring a run in the first, two in the sixth, and two in the seventh.
- Queens cut the lead to four when it plated a run in the eighth. It started when
Lenox Lively was walked on five pitches and later advanced to second when
Grayson Childers singled to left field. Both runners were able to move up on a groundout before Lively scored off
Bradley Browns RBI groundout to short to cut the lead to 5-1.
- Jacksonville in its half of the eighth broke the game open when it plated five runs on four hits to go up 10-1 headed to the ninth.
- The Royals were able to put runners on first and second with two outs in the ninth, but the Dolphins were able to get a groundout to first to end the game.
