Wofford Uses Early Momentum for Win over Queens

THE SHORT STORY
Queens University of Charlotte was unable to recover from an early deficit on Tuesday night, falling 20–1 to the Wofford Terriers. The Terriers used a 13-run second inning to take control, while the Royals broke through in the fourth but could not generate sustained offense.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wofford struck early, scoring once on a wild pitch before adding a sacrifice fly and RBI singles to build momentum in the second inning.
- The Terriers' big frame continued with a two-run triple, a three-run home run, and multiple RBI hits as they pushed across 13 runs in the inning.
- Wofford added two more runs in the third to extend the lead to 15-0.
- Queens answered in the fourth when Hunter Huneycutt doubled to left field, driving in Bradley Brown to get the Royals on the board.
- Wofford closed out the scoring with five runs in the fifth inning, capitalizing on a mix of hits and defensive miscues.
