WINTHROP, S.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field programs recorded multiple personal records on day one of the Winthrop Invitational.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Petar Canak earned a first-place finish in the long jump, recording a mark of 7.06 meters.
- Mekhi Davis (6.68m) and Dyson Abrams (6.59m) finished fourth and fifth in the long jump.
- On the track, Maurice Richardson posted a personal record time of 22.28 seconds in the 200-meter dash.
- Preston Gannt finished fourth in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:05.73.
- Marissa Klammorick recorded her best time in the 400-meter hurdles today, taking sixth place in 1:07.29.
- In the 200, Makayla Bonnett finished 12th in 26.27 seconds, and Alanna Johnson followed in 17th place in 26.67 seconds. Johnson's time was a new personal record.
- Lina Mills-Zacapa took 7th place in the 1500-meter run in 5:00.23. Gianna Mars followed, turning in a personal record time of 5:13.96 for 10th place.
