CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte women's lacrosse team (0-1) opened its 2026 campaign this afternoon, falling 15-4 at Eastern Carolina University.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Following an early goal from ECU's Katleyn Sclafani, Queens'
Isabella Swanson tied the game at 1-1 with 10:30 to play in the first. The Pirates then put together a 6-0 run that stretched into the game's second period.
Trailing 7-1 late in the second quarter, Swanson found the back of the net at 4:31 to end Queens' scoring drought with her second goal of the day. The Pirates then answered with a pair before the break to give the game a 9-2 score at the half.
