THE SHORT STORY

  • Queens attacked the paint and stayed connected at the free throw line in the opening period, going 4-of-6 from the stripe.
  • The Royals found a brief offensive spark early in the second quarter, shooting 4-of-5 from the field and trimming the deficit to six with 5:54 remaining before halftime.
  • Franks continued to provide energy in the third quarter, scoring through contact on multiple possessions and helping Queens string together back-to-back baskets late in the period.
  • Central Arkansas responded with timely perimeter shooting and transition scoring to pull away in the fourth quarter.
