THE MATCHUP
Saturday afternoon marks the sixth all-time meeting between the Royals and the Bears, and the regular season finale for both squads before the ASUN Tournament gets underway next week in Jacksonville. In their previous matchup against the Bears earlier this month, Queens fell 100-90 inside Curry Arena. The Royals connected on 10 threes in the first half, but the visiting Bears erupted in the second half, scoring 60 points on 57-percent shooting. Camren Hunter led the charge with a game-high 31 points.

LAST TIME OUT
Queens is coming off a 96-79 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Wednesday night. The Royals erased a 14-point first half deficit by outscoring the Colonels 51-29 on 55-percent shooting in the second half. Queens held EKU to the second-lowest scoring output in a single half by an opponent this season on 28-percent shooting over the final 20 minutes. Five Royals turned in double figures as
Yoav Berman led the charge with a career-high 24 points while adding four rebounds and six assists.
GROOVING AT THE RIGHT TIME
Heading into the final game of the regular season, Queens is finding a rhythm as the Royals have won six of their last seven, including four straight. The only loss during that stretch was an eight-point defeat to top seeded Austin Peay.

BERMAN'S CAREER-HIGH
Sophomore
Yoav Berman provided the spark in the last outing against Eastern Kentucky with a career-high 24 points and a game-high six assists. The Tel Aviv, Israel native is having a quality season as the guard is tied for the team-lead with 12.9 points per game while also dishing out 3.7 assists per game, which is also tied for the team-lead.
QUEENS CLINCHES THREE
Queens clinched the third seed in the upcoming ASUN Tournament next week. Regardless of the outcome Saturday afternoon, the Royals will enter the tournament as the three seed and begin their postseason journey on Friday, March 6
th at 7:30 p.m. Queens will play the winner of the 6 and 11 seed in the quarterfinals at Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida.

STRONG SECOND HALVES
Queens has started slowly the last three games as the Royals trailed at halftime in 2-of-3 games. However, the Royals have found a groove in the second half on both sides of the ball, scoring 52.3 points on 62-percent shooting in the second half during that stretch. On defense, Queens is allowing 80.3 points on 46-percent shooting over the final 20 minutes

Through 17 ASUN games, the Royals rank sixth in scoring defense, allowing 78.8 points per game, while ranking first in scoring offense with 86.8 points per game.

A new face behind the Royals bench, Buddy, has become a staple in the Royals locker room. A new tradition started this season, head coachÂ
Grant Leonard awards Buddy, a hollow replica of a dog, to the "Street Dog of the Game," or the person who makes an energetic impact in the game. Buddy sits by that player's locker until the next game and has even made appearances in the postgame press conferences.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS (19-11 OVERALL, 14-3 ASUN)
FIRST IN SIGHTS
With a victory on Saturday, the Bears would jump into first place in the ASUN standings, and clinch the No. 1 seed in the ASUN Tournament as they hold the tiebreaker over Austin Peay with the 93-88 win on Wednesday night.

BEST D1 SEASON
In their 20th Division 1 season, the Bears have won the most games in a single-season in the new era.
HOME COURT SUCCESS
The Bears have won their last 12 matchups at home with that blemish coming in overtime against Samford on November 16
th. Inside the Farris Center, the Bears are pouring in 84.0 points per game.

HUNTER ON A HOT STREAK
Camren Hunter has been on a tear in the ASUN after returning to Conway following a season at Wisconsin. The senior has reached double figures in six of the last seven games, including three games with 25+ points in that span. Hunter leads the team with 19.4 points per game, and has ramped that production up in ASUN play as he averages 21.5 points per game, which is third best in the league.
SECOND SEASON AT CENTRAL ARKANSAS
John Shulman is in his second season in charge of the Bears program. Despite an injury-riddled 2025 campaign, Shulman guided the program to the ASUN Tournament and their second ASUN Tournament victory. This season, Shulman has led the Bears to the most wins since 2004-05, and a chance to capture the top seed in the ASUN Tournament.
