THE SHORT STORY
Queens delivered one of its most complete performances of the season Tuesday night, defeating West Georgia 72-62 on Senior Day inside Curry Arena. The Royals forced 26 turnovers and converted them into 22 points, while shooting 50 percent from the field to secure the conference victory.
BY THE NUMBERS
- Dayuna Colvin led the Royals with 21 points on 7-of-18 shooting, going 7-of-8 from the free throw line and adding six steals.
- Jermany Mapp finished with 15 points, knocking down three three-pointers in 40 minutes.
- Magda Freire added 12 points and five steals, while Hannah Hicks pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds.
- Queens shot 50.0 percent (26-52) from the floor and 78.9 percent (15-19) from the free throw line.
