QUEENS (12-8 OVERALL, 7-0 ASUN)
THE MATCHUP
Saturday afternoon marks the fifth all-time meeting between Queens and West Georgia. The Royals command a 4-0 series lead over the Wolves, as the two programs first met in 2018 when they were both Division 2 squads. In their last matchup, Yoav Berman and Chris Ashby combined for 38 points and eight rebounds to lead Queens to a 72-57 victory in Carrollton.

LAST TIME OUT
Queens used a second-half surge, outscoring North Alabama 45-29 over the final 20 minutes to take down the Lions inside Curry Arena on Wednesday night. Freshman Jordan Watford led the charge with a season-high 23 points on 7-of-10 shooting from the field.

HOT START TO LEAGUE ACTION
Queens enters Saturday afternoon as the only remaining unbeaten squad in ASUN play after a perfect 7-0 start. The perfect record marked the best start to ASUN play since joining the league in 2022. The last time Queens rattled off seven straight wins was their final year of Division 2 in 2021-22, when they strung together 16 consecutive wins.

PERFECTION IN NORTH CAROLINA
Queens and Duke are the only remaining in-state Division 1 programs to remain perfect in conference play.

NCAA TOP 100 SHOOTERS
Sharpshooter Chris Ashby is five threes away from moving into the NCAA's Top 100 all-time three-point field goals made. The Houston, Texas native holds the school record for threes made as well as the single-season record (115) set last season.

BERMAN'S BUCKETS
Since ASUN play got underway, sophomore Yoav Berman has stepped up with 12.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.9 blocks per game. The Tel Aviv, Israel native has reached double figures in 6-of-7 league games, and is coming off 20 points, five rebounds, and two assists against North Alabama.

EVERYBODY EATS
The Royals ability to distribute the scoring throughout the lineup has resulted in 10 games this season where five guys reach double figures in the same game.

OFFENSE WINS GAMES, DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS
Since league play started, the Royals have been one of the top offenses and defenses in the league. The Royals are pouring in a league-high 87.7 points per game while limiting opponents to 73.6 points per game, which is fourth-best in the league.

FRESHMAN FACILITATOR
Rookie Jordan Watford has been one of the nation's best first-year distributors, ranking 16th in the country among freshmen with 4.1 assists per game. Watford ranks 158th in the country and fourth in the league in assists per game. Watford is averaging the most assists per game by a true freshman at Queens since Vashon Fullwood distributed 5.3 per game in 1991-92.

DOUBLE THE MANN
Senior Nasir Mann is having a career-best season, averaging 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. Mann ranks 13th in the league in scoring and seventh in rebounding. The guard has eclipsed double figures in 15-of-20 games this season.

STREET DOGS
A new face behind the Royals bench, Buddy, has become a staple in the Royals locker room. A new tradition started this season, head coach Grant Leonard awards Buddy, a hollow replica of a dog, to the "Street Dog of the Game," or the person who makes an energetic impact in the game. Buddy sits by that player's locker until the next game and has even made appearances in the postgame press conferences.

WEST GEORGIA (9-10 OVERALL, 3-4 ASUN)
FIND THEIR WAY
West Georgia enters Saturday afternoon 9-10 overall and 3-4 in ASUN play. After a perfect start to league action, the Wolves have dropped four straight games to Jacksonville, Stetson, FGCU, and Central Arkansas.

NON-CONFERENCE SCHEDULE
The Wolves were challenged through their non-conference schedule with matchups at Nebraska, No. 15 UCLA, Georgia Tech, and No. 23 Georgia.

ALL-LEAGUE STANDOUT
Preseason All-ASUN selection and Lute Olson National Player of the Week recipient Shelton Williams-Dryden is the sparkplug for the Wolves. The senior is averaging a team-high 20.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game and has turned in seven double-doubles on the year, which is tied for 31st most in the country.

SHOT BLOCKING
West Georgia is swatting an ASUN-best 4.95 shots per game as junior Javar Daniel leads the team with 1.9 per game.

ON THE GLASS
The season has been a tale of two sides on the glass as the Wolves lead the ASUN with 11.7 offensive rebounds per game; however, they sit 11th on the defensive end, bringing down 21.6 per game.

ESTABLISHED LEADER
Dave Moore is in his eighth season leading the West Georgia squad, a program that is in year two of their transition to Division 1. Moore guided the Wolves to a breakout 27-win campaign in 2023-24, highlighted by a Gulf South Conference regular season and tournament title.
