CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte Royals are scheduled to celebrate becoming a full NCAA Division I member on Friday, September 26, on the South Lawn located in front of the Levine Center. The All In: Division I Celebration is one of the free events scheduled to take place during Family and Friends Weekend.
 
"We are excited to welcome our Queens and Charlotte communities to campus on September 26 for our Division I Celebration," said Queens Director of Athletics Cherie Swarthout. "It will be a fun and memorable weekend for everyone in attendance, and we look forward to seeing new faces on campus as we continue building life-long Royals."
 
The Division I Celebration is a family-friendly, free event. It will feature food trucks, a digital cash bar, photo ops with Rex and Queens coaches & student-athletes, lawn games, the launch of the new Royals Rise Golden Lager from Town Brewing Co., and more! Family and Friends Weekend will take place from September 26 to 28. To register for the entire weekend, click the link below. Registration is $45 per person and includes an official Family & Friends Weekend t-shirt, a weekend pass for all Queens athletic competitions, two meal tickets (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch), access to all scheduled events, including campus activities, panels, and entertainment, and a memorable experience on campus. The registration deadline is September 15.
