CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Queens University of Charlotte head men's basketball coach
Grant Leonard is thrilled to announce the addition of Kameron Clark to the 2025 recruiting class on Thursday afternoon. Clark, a 6-7 guard from Memphis, Tennessee, comes to the Queen City after spending last season at Itawamba Community College in Fulton, Mississippi.
"Kam's talent can be eye-popping at times as he is a super athletic, physical, and high-character player," said Leonard. "His positional length and ability to shoot the ball and defend multiple positions will make him a very tough player in our league."
Clark spent last season with Itawamba Community College, where he made 31 appearances, including 29 starts, and was named to the NJCAA Region 23 All-Tournament Team. The sophomore averaged 9.8 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across 25.5 minutes per game while shooting 47 percent from the field and 34 percent from beyond the arc. The lengthy guard poured in double figures in 11 games, including a season-high 23 points against No. 21 Northwest Mississippi Community College. Clark turned in a pair of double-doubles, including a 19-point and 10-rebound effort against Calhoun Community College.
Before Itawamba Community College, Clark spent a season at Cleveland State Community College. As a freshman, Clark averaged 12.5 points on 44 percent shooting while adding 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. Clark reached double figures in 17 outings, including a season-high 23 points at Chattanooga State Community College. Clark was selected to compete in the Top 40 All-Star Game at the All-American JUCO Showcase Invitational in Atlanta, Georgia.
Clark graduated from Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee, where he averaged 11.3 points per game. The guard held offers from Queens, Alabama State, Radford, and Tarleton State while also receiving interest from Marshall, Charlotte, Western Kentucky, North Alabama, and Lipscomb.
