Queens Women’s Soccer Unveils 2025 Schedule Featuring 10 Home Matches

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte women's soccer and head coach Shannon Neely Noel have officially announced their 2025 season schedule, highlighted by 10 home matches at Dickson Field and a competitive slate of ASUN Conference action beginning in mid-September.

"This year's schedule is built to prepare us for success going into our ASUN competition," said head coach Neely Noel. "Our non-conference schedule is a great mix of opponents we have faced before and new teams that will challenge us to adapt and be at our best."

The Royals will kick off the campaign with back-to-back exhibitions, welcoming High Point on August 4 before visiting Western Carolina on August 8. The regular season opener follows on August 14 as Queens hosts Campbell under the lights in Charlotte. The season opener will serve as Taco Mama Fan Night, offering special promotions for fans.

"Starting off with two exhibition matches vs High Point and Western Carolina will give our roster and our newcomers ample chances to be ready for our home and season opener versus Campbell."

Queens continues its non-conference campaign with home matches against Gardner-Webb (Aug. 17), Miami (OH) (Aug. 21), Elon (Aug. 28), and Richmond (Sep. 7). On the road, the Royals face a tough test against defending Big South champion USC Upstate on August 31, followed by a trip to Liberty on September 4, a program that claimed a share of the 2024 Conference USA regular season title. The non-conference schedule wraps with a visit to Winthrop on September 14.

ASUN Conference play begins on the road with a Florida swing, as Queens travels to Jacksonville on September 18 and North Florida on September 21. The Royals return home the following week to host FGCU (Sep. 25) and Stetson (Sep. 28), before celebrating Senior Day on October 5 against West Georgia.

The second half of league play includes a rematch at West Georgia on October 12, followed by two consecutive road matches at Stetson (Oct. 16) and FGCU (Oct. 19). The regular season concludes at home with matchups against North Florida (Oct. 22) and Jacksonville (Oct. 25).

"I can't wait to see this year's roster attack this season, they are built on the foundations the program has laid over our first three division I seasons and because of that this team is poised take on the 2025 season head on," said Neely Noel.
