CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams wrapped their regular seasons this weekend, competing in the Charlotte Invitational.
 
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES

• Simone Mouras raced to a first-place finish in the 800-meter run in 2:14.65. Her time is fifth-best at Queens. She also took 14^th in the 1500-meter run.
• Marissa Klamorick clocked in at 1:01.71 in the 400-meter run, which is ninth all-time at Queens. She also finished ninth in the high jump with a mark of 1.58 meters,  10^th best at Queens.
• In the women's 5000-meter run, Livia Wespe was second in 16:59.79. Weronika Ptaszynska was 15^th.
• Halle Perry was 10^th in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.21,  fifth-best at Queens.
• For the men on the track, Trey Leggins was 10^th in the 400-meter run in 49.11 seconds. His time is fifth best at Queens.
• David Fort raced to a third-place finish in the 800-meter run in 1:53.17.
• Uraih Aili was 11^th in the 5000-meter run in 14:35.99.
• In hurdles, Alexander Mannel took seventh place in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.03 seconds, seventh best all-time at Queens. Chandon Smith took eighth place in the 400-meter hurdles in 54.74 seconds to sit sixth all-time at Queens.
• In field events, Vesna Kljajevic took second place in the shot put with a mark of 14.42 meters. Lauren Christian was 12^th in the event with a mark of 12.19 meters. The marks sit third and 10^th on Queens' all-time list, respectively.
• In the javelin, Emilija Kusic took eighth place with a mark of 35.18 meters, 10^th best for the Royals.
• In jumps, Heloise Louiset took sixth in the high jump with a mark of 1.63 meters. She also took sixth in the long jump with a mark of 5.63 meters. Both of her jumps are in the top 10 at Queens.
• In the triple jump, Jada Brown took eighth with a mark of 11.44 meters, which sits eighth at Queens. Gisele Dulnuan-Kersey was 10^th, with a mark that also made it to the top 10 list at Queens.
• For the men, Petar Canak posted a first-place mark in the long jump. His jump of 7.28 meters is second at Queens.
• Josiah Ford took 10^th place in the triple jump (13.63m) and 12^th in the high jump (1.90m). Both marks are top 10 at Queens. Michael Robinson also competed in the triple jump, recording a jump of 13.35 meters for 11^th place.
• Thrower Enrico Busato took 10^th in the shot put with a mark of 14.52 meters.
• Jakob Nutzel was fourth in the discus throw with a mark of 54.17 meters. Zsombor Takacs took sixth in the event with a throw of 51.19 meters.
• Alexander Mannel competed in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 4.25 meters, which is eighth all-time at Queens.

Queens will continue prepping for the Atlantic Sun Conference Men's and Women's Outdoor Championships scheduled to take place from May 15-17 in Jacksonville, Fla.
