CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's rugby teams are set to compete at the Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s this weekend at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Maryland. The men's Championships will take place from April 25 to 27, and the women's championships will be from April 26 to 27.
The Royals men's and women's rugby programs will both compete in the Premier Cup divisions.
The men have been seeded second in the Midwest, and they will open play with a game against Fordham at 10:40 am on Friday. Their bracket can be found

The women were also seeded second. They will face Southern Nazarene in the west bracket on Saturday at 11 am. The full bracket can be found

The Collegiate Rugby Championship is the college national championship for Rugby 7s. With 144 men's and women's teams and eight divisions, the event includes non-stop action across five fields over three days. Fans from all over the country will come to the Capital Region to watch the nation's best rugby 7s teams and join the three-day festival. The men's bracket and championship game will be held on Friday and Saturday. The women's bracket and championship game will be held on Saturday and Sunday. The championship is run by National Collegiate Rugby, the association responsible for over 650 men's and women's rugby programs in the nation.
