RESULTS
LYNCHBURG, Va.- The Queens University of Charlotte men's and women's track and field teams completed their weekend at the Darius Dixon Invitational, which Liberty University hosted this evening.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Heloise Louiset took second place in the high jump invite with a mark of 1.76 meters that sits second all-time at Queens.
- Vesna Kljajevic finished fourth in the shot put after throwing 14.72 meters. Her mark from today is second all-time at Queens.
- Jada Brown recorded a mark of 11.44 meters in the triple jump which sits fifth all-time at Queens and helped her finish 20th in the event.
- Simone Mouras raced in the women's open mile, taking eighth place in 5:06.34.
- The men's DMR team made up of Jonathan Schmidt, Tate Kwaiser, David Fort, and Noah Boeck took second place in a time of 10:11.50.
- The men's 4x400 relay team made up of Kwaiser, Chandon Smith, Trey Leggins, and Braden Dunn ran a time of 3:24.41 to move into 10th all-time at Queens.
- Uriah Aili ran in the men's mile invite taking 17th place with a time of 4:13.29.
- Josiah Ford posted a mark of 13.88 meters in the triple jump. Today's mark sits third all-time at Queens.
UP NEXT
Queens will travel to JDL Fast Track on Feb. 22 for the JDL Last Chance Invitational. ASUN Indoor Championships are scheduled for Feb. 27-28 in Louisville, Ky.
