THE SHORT STORY
Queens University battled Eastern Kentucky tough through the first half, but a second-half surge from the Colonels proved too much as the Royals fell 75-62 on Wednesday night at Curry Arena. The Royals drop to 8-16 overall and 2-11 in ASUN action, while the Colonels improved to 17-9 and 7-6 in league play.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
Queens started the game strong, taking a 19-18 lead after the opening quarter. The Royals maintained their momentum early in the second by getting to the free throw line. Kemia Ward was a force in the paint, scoring inside and getting to the free-throw line, helping Queens keep pace as the teams entered halftime tied at 30.

However, Eastern Kentucky took control in the third quarter, using a 21-13 scoring advantage to build an eight-point lead. The Colonels extended their lead in the fourth with a key 9-0 run, ultimately securing the win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
