THE SHORT STORY
Queens faced one of the nation's top teams Sunday and fell 121–49 at No. 2 South Carolina. The Royals knocked down nine threes but were unable to slow the Gamecocks' size, pace, and efficiency.

BY THE NUMBERS
  • Brenae Jones-Grant led Queens with 10 points and seven rebounds, her fourth game in double figures this season.
  • Chester, S.C. native, Jermany Mapp added nine points, two assists, and a steal.
  • Ana Barreto finished with six points, two steal, and two assists, extending her streak of games with at least two made threes.
  • Junior guard, Alyssa Lewis provided six points off the bench, hitting two threes.
