Jermany Mapp, the Royals controlled the pace early and never trailed, picking up their third win of the young season.

- Brenae Jones-Grant powered Queens with a career-high 28 points, shooting 11-for-15 (73.3 percent), and added seven rebounds, two steals, and one block.
- Ana Barreto finished with 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists, reaching double figures for the third time this season.
- Jermany Mapp posted 14 points, four assists, and two threes, extending her double-figure streak to two straight games.
- Dayuna Colvin delivered nine points, six assists, and five rebounds, her highest assist total this season. Hannah Hicks and Magda Freire added five points apiece.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
- Queens opened the game on a thirteen-to-nine run, knocking down five early threes to set the tone.
- Midway through the second quarter, Jones-Grant completely shifted the momentum. She scored nine points in a six-minute stretch, including three straight finishes around the rim, pushing the Queens lead to double digits,
- The Royals closed the first half on a 7-2 run, highlighted by a step-back three from Barreto and a transition layup from Mapp, giving Queens a 14-point advantage at the break.
- South Carolina State opened the third quarter with renewed energy, trimming the margin down to seven, but Queens regrouped. Colvin delivered a critical sequence with a driving layup and back-to-back assists that rebuilt the margin to twelve.
- In the fourth quarter, SCSU made another push, pulling within six with under four minutes to play. Queens responded with composure, using a Mapp three, and consecutive defensive stops to regain control.
