Notable Moments

• The Queens defense set the tone to begin the exhibition matchup with Johnson C. Smith Wednesday night. The Royals held the visiting Golden Bulls to a pair of field goals through the first five and a half minutes of play to take a 13-6 lead into the first media break.
• Leading 33-22, junior Kam Clark connected on a three-pointer, sparking a 15-5 run for the Royals over the last four minutes of the first half.
• Coming out of the halftime break, the ASUN Preseason Player of the Year Chris Ashby got off to a hot start connecting on a pair of three-pointers to extend the Royals lead to 64-34.
• The Queens offense stayed hot, putting up 39 points in the first twelve minutes of the second half as freshman guard Jordan Watford facilitated with multiple assists during that run.
