The Queens University women's basketball team put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell to Jacksonville, 83-76, at Swisher Gymnasium. With the loss, Queens falls to a 7-12 overall record (1-7 in conference play), while Jacksonville evens their record at 10-10 (4-4 ASUN).

Aylesha Wade led Queens with an impressive 27-point performance, shooting 10-of-18 from the field, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc.
- Wade also contributed three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Dayuna Colvin added 18 points and dished out a team-high eight assists while going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.

NOTABLE MOMENTS
Queens started the game strong, taking a 21-16 lead after the first quarter behind Wade's hot shooting. However, Jacksonville responded in the second quarter with a 25-11 run, capitalizing on Queens' shooting struggles and turnovers to take a 41-32 lead into halftime.
The third quarter saw Jacksonville extend their advantage to 20 points, their largest lead of the game. Queens responded with a strong push in the fourth, outscoring Jacksonville 26-19 and cutting the deficit to single digits, but their comeback fell short in the final minutes.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
Aylesha Wade posted 32 minutes of action and finished with a career high in points (27) and three pointers made (4).
Jordyn Weaver finished with her fifth straight game posting double figures and her 18
th game this season.
NEXT UP
