CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team hosted No. 18 Old Dominion University this afternoon in their home opener, falling 9-0 to the Monarchs who are currently undefeated at 3-0.

the Monarchs quickly got on the board with a pair of goals in the first four minutes of action. A third would follow in the opening quarter to put them in front 3-0. ODU then scored three more goals in the second quarter to extend their lead to six by the half. The Royals were held to just two shots in the first half of action, and they would end the match with three.
