CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team hosted Davidson College (2-1) this afternoon, falling 4-1 to the Wildcats. Today's game was also dedicated to Morgan's Message to help raise awareness for the mental health of student-athletes.

Queens held the Wildcats to just one goal in the opening half before Davidson scored twice in the third quarter to extend their lead to three, 3-0.

Kennedy Bratton found the back of the cage in the 49
th to close the gap to two, but Davidson quickly scored their final of the game seconds later to give the game its final score.
KEY STATS & NOTES
- Queens' Madison Destefano completed the game with nine saves after facing 13 shots on goal. One of Destefano's saves was on a penalty stroke early in the game.
- Kennedy Bratton's goal was her first of the season and the third of her career. It was also the first home goal of the season for Queens.
- Sydney Smith found Bratton up the field on a fast break to earn the assist on the play.
- The Wildcats earned 16 penalty corners compared to Queens' one.
- Davidson outshot the Royals 16-2.
