Queens Nets Goal in Loss at La Salle

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. –  The Queens University of Charlotte field hockey team faced La Salle on the road this morning, falling 4-1.

INSIDE THE MATCH
La Salle scored early in today's game before finding the back of the cage again on a penalty stroke. They held a 2-0 lead less than 10 minutes into play, and that score carried into the second half.   
 
Queens was able to get on the board in the third when Jarmilla Richter scored on a penalty stroke to close the gap to one. However, La Salle scored two more goals in the final five minutes of action to give the game its final score.

  • Jarmilla Richter scored the first goal of the season for Queens.
  • Queens was outshot 31-5 by La Salle who put 15 shots on goal compared to the Royals' two shots on goal.
