FORT MYERS, Fla. – In a crucial regular-season finale with postseason implications on the line, the Queens University of Charlotte men's soccer team took down Florida Gulf Coast 1-0 on Saturday night. The victory allowed the Royals to clinch their second straight trip to the Atlantic Sun Tournament.

In a physical finale, the visiting Royals broke through in the 33
rd minute with a timely attack. The Queens backline applied pressure and forced an Eagles turnover allowing
Felipe Marty to send a deep ball to flip the field. The boot found the foot of
Michel Feldman in the attacking zone and the junior beat the Eagles goalkeeper for the 1-0 lead.

- Junior Michel Feldman found the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season, and 11th of his career.
- Freshman Matheus Rhormens picked up his third victory in his 11th career start. The Sao Paulo, Brazil native notched four saves to pick up his fifth shutout of the season.
- Jamahl Brown turned in a quality night on the attack ripping a pair of shots on goal across a career-high 86 minutes of action.
- Ciro Bourlot Jaeggi, Caio Brandao, and Oliver Kneer rounded out the offense with a shot each.
- Samuel Idinge, Felipe Marty, Roberto Alvarez, Milan Miric, and Matheus Rhormens played all 90 minutes in the win. Idinge extended his complete game streak to 37 straight matches.
- Florida Gulf Coast outshot Queens 11-6 on the night as both offenses placed four shots on frame.
