CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte and the Atlantic Sun Conference are excited to welcome the men's and women's basketball programs across the league to Charlotte for the 2024 ASUN Basketball Tipoff presented by Influxer. The tipoff will air live on ESPN Plus on Monday, October 14
th from inside Curry Arena at the Levine Center.
"Both the Atlantic Sun and the city of Charlotte are the perfect destination and backdrop for the 2024-2025 basketball tipoff," said Queens Director of Athletics Cherie Swarthout. "We are excited to welcome our fellow ASUN members and showcase the Charlotte market."
The one-day event will be split into two sessions with the first session getting underway at 10:00 a.m. The teams featured in the opening segment will include Eastern Kentucky, Jacksonville, Lipscomb, North Florida, Queens, and West Georgia. Following a brief break, the remaining six teams, including Austin Peay, Bellarmine, Central Arkansas, FGCU, North Alabama, and Stetson will commence for the afternoon session beginning at 1:00 p.m. Both sessions will be aired live on ESPN Plus and feature the men's and women's programs from all 12 member institutions.

"This event provides an opportunity to showcase our elite student-athletes, promote our programs, and celebrate the magnitude of the Atlantic Sun's 20-million home footprint. Leo Colimerio will represent the Royals while head coach
Jen Brown,
Jordyn Weaver, and
Aylesha Wade will rep the blue and gold for the women's team. Queens is scheduled to go live on ESPN Plus at 11:40 a.m. Fans can tune in

The 2025 ASUN Men's Basketball Championship takes place on March 2-9, 2025, while the Women's postseason begins on March 7 and wraps up on March 15. Both tournaments are 10-team events with the higher seeds hosting throughout.
