ATLANTA, GA. — For the first time in his career, Yannick Plasil was named the ASUN Swimmer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
Plasil, a senior from Oberhausen, Germany, took home a first-place finish in the 200-Yard Fly against No. 21 Virginia Tech with a time of 1:45.61 on Friday, Jan. 5.
The night also included a season-best time for Plasil of 1:52.25 in the 200-Meter Backstroke. Additionally, he finished runner-up in the 400-Yard Individual Medley at the same meet — sporting a time of 4:00.06.
Be sure to catch Plasil and other Queens Swimming seniors on Senior Day against Georgia Tech and Gardner-Webb on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 11:00 AM. Senior festivities will begin at 10:45 AM.
